BMW Performance Suspension

As most of you noticed, there's a new BMW Performance Suspension available for E90's.

For the E90, the kit consists of;

-two front struts

-two rear shocks

-front springs

-rear springs

It is available at Tischer for $555 USD (MSRP of $695)
It is availble at our Canadian Dealers for a whopping $867.50

I mean really, Even with shipping by UPS and tax and duty, I doubt it'll get up that high.

Now the question is, the dealer also said that I would need to buy front upper strut bearings at $80 Cdn each, so i'm assuming another 160 bucks.

Plus 6 hours of labour for installation and allignment.

At dealer prices, I'm not sure how much that will translate to.

Now, since I have a non-sport suspension, this package is very attractive to me. However, the pricing is really throwing me off.

To me, my options are:
1) Order from Tischer, have it installed locally and pay BMW for labour.
2) Drive down to Seattle, and purchase, have it installed there. (hence, no duty)
3) Order from Tischer and have independent vendor install it (but voids suspension warranty, right?)

I'm looking for some feedback on this, anything would be great.

Thanks!

Is there anything about this suspension on the BMW website?

See Here

Well, a friend of mine used to have a slammed e46 coupe, and it was annoying to see how he had to approach every single speed bump at an angle. So I'd rather have something that's a bit better than the sport package, but not too slammed.

Plus, at $555 US. It's actually a pretty good deal and I like the idea that it's under warranty as well, since OEM. Adds resale value, if I choose to sell it in the future.
