anyone using it? i discovered first owner had never activated it so ive got 3 years. Ive managed to get it to download routes from the net to the cars nav, but i cant get the unlock/lock thing to work from the iphone app. Does that work for anyone else?

Unlock / lock and pre-conditioning work OK from my iPhone app. Not instant though, can take a few minutes after the phone says "data transfer sucessful" until the car actually does what it was told.

i get the "data transfer successful" message, but then it just hangs there, also. theres no option on the app for pre-conditioning or the flash lights thing, im wondering if theres something i havent activated in my account online.

Perhaps the software in the car needs updating.

I have a 2010 e90 & using Android and I only get an option to unlock, which as xenon pointed out, does take a while. There's nothing about lights flashing or air-con etc, but if it takes as long to flash the lights it not much use anyway.

Yeah the light flash is pretty pointless but I use the pre-condition all the time. If it's a hot day I send the command half-an-hour before leaving work and it's breezing away when I get there.

The lock/unlock works now but only on drivers door, is that correct?

That may depend on how you've got unlock configured in the system

I had mine enabled yesterday. The locking / unlocking works but takes approx 2 minutes to do it. I don't have the pre-condition, lights or horn option though. Just door locking / unlocking.

The car location tracker works great though. Used it a few times yesterday and today and is pretty accurate.

I think the most usefull option is the google search and send to car, you tried that yet?
