6FL stopped working. Anyone expirience this?

May 07 Production 335i Coupe. 6FL with I-Drive Nav. 6FL stopped working.

First always had the switching issue where it went to FM from Ipod mode without me doing a thing. Didn't care much as I could always switch it back.
Recently it started pausing the Ipod for no apparent reason. It would beep kind freeze for second, play on then pause and nothing even disconnecting Ipod resolved it until I turned off the car overnight.
Then, it got worse, it stopped responding to any command inputs.
Then it got worse still. It stopped displaying anything in the I-Drive.
Today it wont load Ipod and wont play anything.

Ah BMW with their really poor quality electronics. Damn, here we go again. I just had the car's bluetooth fixed because it was not working. That only took dealership 2 days to diagnose and fix, now this...

Car has 3500 miles on it. 2500 from ED back in June. Anyone else had this happen to their car?

I had similar issues. They replaced every component with no luck. Turned out to be a bad co-ax cable to the MULF. Now it's working great.
