Tv & DVD in headrest

Searched tv and nothing came up.

I would quite like to have tv in my car. Ideally with free view channels. I have idrive with pro sat nav. Is it as simple as buying a box and getting it coded?

Also, would be interested in screens in headrest. As I have lemon leather none of the standard beige will match so would rather put the screens in my headrests myself. Have any of you guys done this or know of any kits?

Can anyone help please.

In that thread, the guy who owned silver m3 stated that kufatec kit was better than oem bmw TV.
Signal wise, if you install them at the front windscreen (right at the top) then no issues except when you pass under the bridge. And pic distort for the time that you are under the bridge.
Picture quality was excellent IMHO.

Guys with ccc can justify its price tag, as it gives them tv, video and usb music player abilities.
However people with CIC and this kit for tv only....?

I've just seen the price of these units

I might keep a look out for a cheap oem TV module!?

You may find a cheap TV module, but you will have to buy a TV module retrofit kit and new diversity antenna.
Overall just for that kit and antenna cost is around £500 if my memory serves me right.
So going down the BMW OEM route is more expensive with poor signal reception.

I'll forget about retrofitting the TV then!
