Thanks all, it is an amazing vehicle. As I said at the top, I've got no experience of the standard car so I can't draw parallels but in my view the mods carried out just reinforce the strengths of a fantastic car and sharpen up the areas that perhaps need it.
I didn't harp on too much about the JB4 but let me say that changing maps is a cinch and the difference in performance cannot be over stressed. Again, what difference it would make on an engine without the DP's & intercooler I don't know. |

Switch to map Zero and see!
Would be about 10-20hp more than stock but gives you an idea of how big a difference 100bhp and 100lb/ft makes...

Stunning car and some nice pics there too.
Can't think of many cars that fill the 'complete package' criteria like this car in terms of daily usable power, handling, practicality, looks and stealth. Very nice car indeed! |

Manual gearbox, nice long runs and little or no town/city driving...

Mainly rural driving and anticipating the road. Don't get me wrong, I use the power when in the mood and the situation allows it but I try to anticipate other road users and junctions/hazards so I don't apply the brakes heavily and scrub speed unless I want to.

No worries. North of Lake Garda around Tione de Trento. Beautiful area without too many people. Great for summer cycling/walking and skiing in winter. I'm looking at driving back in February for skiing and trying out the set of winter tyres I've got...should be interesting!
