So,
The DPF light has come on again :-( Went for a 400 odd mile round trip, on way up no problem constantly driving at 70-80 on cruise no issues except the temperature was hovering around 69-74. On way back same temperature and after overall 300 miles the light has come back on, This was 3 days ago. Haven't driven much but the power loss hasn't occured yet but light comes on. Confused got an appointment with my local guy to see if can plug in and see if any fault codes are coming up. Any other idea's? Thanks |

And when you get the thermostats sorted you need to take it for a drive and have someone constantly deleting the dpf fault codes as it won't regen with them stored but after a while they will take longer to appear until a regen initiates then hopefully job done if its not too blocked

Its hard on UK roads. Its not recommended but what I did was leave it in 5th gear (DS Mode) and blast it at 90-110 mph constant for an hour at late night. I was hovering around 3000rpm. Aslo used a full tank of VPower. Never had a issue since. BMW told me all sorts n wanted to charge me $$$!
