Split/slide arm rest.

Hi all,

I'm thinking about buying the split/slide arm rest and noticed that you can get a leather one or a imitation leather one which is around a 100 pound cheaper.

I'm just wondering if anyone has either and is it worth paying the extra 100 pounds for the leather one? My car has black leather with white stitching.

Any thoughts welcome,

I have the leather..

Can't comment on the imitation leather but seemed odd to me to go for imitation leather when the whole of my interior is leather..

Get the imitation leather, you won't notice the difference & put the £100 towards so other upgrade!

Look out for a second hand one on ebay. I got mine for 130 delivered in mint condition

That's a good point and I don't think the standard one I have now is leather!!

Yeah I have been keeping an eye on eBay but no black one have come up for sale. I'm not back in the uk for a few more weeks anyway so I will keep checking and if one doesn't pop up I will order a new one once back home.

If you want an idea of how the imitation leather looks (unless specs changed after LCI) the gearshift gaiter is leather but the handbrake gaiter is imitation leather so have a look, see if you would be happy with it.

Door cards are imitation leather as well i think

Well, again pre-LCI for sure, the handbrake gaiter was the only imitation leather piece in the car.
