N54 drive belt

Hey dudes. So I replaced my drive belt. Now when engine warms up it squeals when accelerating. In neutral or in d. The more I press the accelerator the louder it squeals. Pulleys seem to be fine so my guess would be the tensioner is not holding up well?

Facing the same problem looking forward to a response. Mine does so when the engine is colder.

Replace the tension pulley and idler pulley. Search, there is a DIY on here. Note: If there is not enough tension on the belt it will slip and squeak.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

So it's a possibility that within time plastic pulleys wear out? Could it be the spring on the tensioner? I noticed when the car is cold it doesn't squeal, but 2-3 minutes into driving it starts to make the noise. I'm thinking when tensioner gets to a certain temp it fails to hold ?
