HELP HELP HELP Rear Sway bars!!!
Alright guys, i know putting in rear sway bars was a B****, but honestly...what the hell? Its so damn hard.:sad0147::sad0147: My friend and I got my car on jack stands...loosened up the old sway bar, removed the bushings, and now the sway bar is still in my car....Gonna work on it tomorrow morning, and i tried searching for a DIY for this...but nothing came up.
How did you guys install the rear sways? If you guys took it to an auto shop, how much did it cost for the install? I got the H&R rear sway bars, so please, if anyone can guide me through this! that'll be great! thanks guys

I've heard that too, but I'm not sure either.

i think experienced places should take somewhere around 3 + time for alignment.

i think most people said 200-400 bucks for installing their rear sway
i paid 295... it was supposed to be like 250 for install, 90 for alignment but i didn't have any more money so he took what i had.

Here is a thread from ksfrogman having it done at a shop. You can see from the pictures they removed some interference and gently dropped the subframe.

The car needs to be lifted, then a jack placed under the differential. The chassis subframe should be lowered, but not to the extent that it would interfere with the brake lines or exhaust system. When this was done on my car, it was done one side at a time using the differential jack as a fulcrum (teeter-todder).

me and my friend did IT!!! OMG...pretty much took about 4 hours.....the most annoying part... snaking and muscling the old sway bar and the new sway bar...
OVERALL SATISFIED!! feels nice a flat on those 90 degree turns, and i also got front struts...i dunno how much they're helping..but everything seems to work well..
