Swapped H8, Driver Side Ok but Passenger Dim...?

135i content here but figured I'd post since this forum gets more traffic. I replaced my factory H8 bulbs with PIAA Plasma Ions, H8 35 watt. Driver side looks good but for some reason passenger side is dimmer, especially the outer bulb. Before I attempt to fix this and cut up my hand even further, can anyone suggest why this might be? The bulbs are brand new.

Is there anyway to adjust the brightness to even things out, or could I simply have not secured the bulb tight enough during install?

bulb may not be secure enough, my first bulb install on my e90 had a similar problem. turned out to be that the bulb wasnt turned enough so the wires coming off it covered part of the light output to the AE tubes.

Just wondering but have you ever had any other angel eye bulb in there before, or only stock?

make sure the bulb is seated properly and flat. remove and re-install and see if it helps. 1/4 turn should lock it in place with little to no movement.

+1 if the bulb isn't perfect, you'll get weird results.

Thanks guys, messed around with it after work. The bulb was a little loose, made sure it was properly seated and now both sides are even. If for any reason it appears uneven it's just the angle of the picture.
