Issue with Jb4 need advice
Wasnt sure if this thread belonged in XI or N54 section so sorry if i put it in the wrong spot.
So 2 weeks ago i got and installed the JB4 G5 and BMS DCI. 99% of the time so far i have been on map 4 (stock map). I have been trying to do a few launches on map 1 just to feel the difference but the few times i have tried (3 different days and i did let the car warm up) it just jerks foward, both my left and right turn signal on my dash go on, and then feels almost like its in limp mode until i let of the gas. Im not sure whats wrong. this is my first turbo car so forgive any noobishness. anyone know what the problem is? little info on the car. its 2008 335xi, only use 93 octane, has 45000 miles on it (got it almost 2 months ago so hasnt had any maintence from me yet), and im 100% sure that he jb4 and dci were.installed correctly.

JB4 support here: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17441
By default with JB4, turn signals turn on at 6100 rpm because they act as a shift lights (no worries they turn on in your dash only). Also, Goldenc717 has a valid point... Did you turn off traction control? You have to hold the DTC button for 3-4 seconds. Otherwise traction control will kill the power... Remember map 1/5 will give you about +100 horses. Could you record a video? Will see what happens...

This might be real noob like but i thought the point of launching with a awd car was that you didnt need to turn off traction control because we dont really get much wheel spin? |

believe me, you gonna have wheel spin with a JB4 x-drive... you just don't feel it as much as a rwd
