weird "spinning" sound from the right side of the engine bay

hey guys, so i've had this sound appear 3 times, every time immediately upon starting the car, all 3 times in the summer (in case temp matters). it sounded like something was spinning for the lack of the better word. somewhat higher pitch. went away all three times within 3-5 seconds or so. seemed to come from the right part of the engine bay or its environs. dropped off a car at the dealer's today, they're keeping it overnight, but seems like they don't know what that is. any ideas? much appreciated.

Not sure, but believe it may be Service Instruction Bulletin.

I thought he was quoting Tommy Boy. "I can sh-t in a box and mark it guaranteed if you want- I've got time- but for your sake, for your customers sake, for your daughters sake, why don't you buy a quality brake pad from me?"
