So I bought these depo headlights and they are great. Worked great for a while and then one day we had a really bad storm, woke up the next day and my headlight looked like this. Ever since then,during the day, if warm enough, the headlight would clear up, at night when the temperature drops it builds up all the condensation again and looks like the picture. When it is not there, I can wash my car, I use a pressure washer, and can't get any water in there whatsoever. When it rains heavily, it builds up in there. Now with the change in weather, this headlight is always like this. What the hell can I do? There are no visible cracks and all seals are sealed ! Also it is only this drivers side one, passenger side NEVER has this problem.

There's a chance that the doors that seal the headlight compartment where you put the bulbs is bad. Try using some Dielectric Grease on the seals, it could help out!

But to remove the condensation, take a hair dryer, and point it in the open back of the headlight, and just gently (carefully!!) blow warm air in. It will help evaporate the water that has condensed inside. Take your time. You can melt things.

I'll check it, but when I did these headlights I even sealed them with silicone when I had to drill holes in the cap cover for my hid bulbs. I'll check it out though. I'll try the hair dryer trick later, hopefully that works.

Reseal hid bulb wire outlets the plastic covers don't do shit. But maybe revealing the housing should do the trick

I have this same issue. many many washes and a few rains, no problems. just a little tiny bit of condensation which burnt off in minutes. one time after a wash notice a lot of heavy condensation. At that point my xenon was still working so it burnt off over a day or two of long drives. After a heavy rain a couple weeks later, I woke up to this, and my xenon had burned out... not sure if its just the light bulb or if the ballast is bad? HAve no idea how this could have happened unless seal was just about to go. the normal day lights that are always on still work on that side.

what would you recommend in terms of checking. I was literally just about to buy a new light fixture, PART NUMBER 63117182518 but would like to avoid if it would be an easy fix.

sucks not being able to drive at night, or doing so with only one working headlight.

Damn that sucks.. Still have your stock headlights? You should send those in to OSS or something while you're still using those lights.

Bulb still works in there, so go figure. They are depo not OSS so I don't know who to send them to

He meant you could send them to OSS or anyone that offers the service to have then resealed. I recommend Lightwerkz.

They are one of the nicest I have seen personally though.
