Wheel offset
Since this is primarily XI section wanted to ask here
I bought set of 18x9 et40 wheels with 235/40/18 all around (slight stretch) for my 08 XI sedan I put a 20mm spacer in rear to make more flush so essentially now et20 In front I'm gonna need a 3/5mm spacer to clear strut. I have 15mm on now from previous buy - sticks too far out) Guess just want to see if anyone running this kind of setup? Like it? Etc etc I'm trying to make it work. Def should've done a 8.5 et35 then ran spacers but all well I have pics if interested Thanks |

I bet it a nice aggressive look. I run 18x8.5 35 et all around with 15 mm spacers out back, probably could of ran a 20 mm since my wheels are only 8.5 inch wide. Looking to throw either 10 or 15mm spacers out front to get that flush look. Would a 10 mm work out front for you or still stick to far out. A 5 mm difference is just under a 1/4 of an inch.

Here are some pics
Since I'm hitting the strut I think a 5mm will work fine and still allow some lip left on hub I'm measuring again this week. So a 5mm would be 35mm offset in front and 20 in rear |

Looks good man! Quick question I just put 18s on mine with a staggered setup! The camber on my wheels looks tilted in? Does yours?

I noticed your car has been lowered, thats why the wheels tilt in /camber.

From the looks of your pics , I assuming the front wheel in the picture is with the 15 mm spacer on ? I agree the 5 mm spacer would work nicely but also think a 10 may look real nice too. By looking at the picture if that is the 15 mm spacer , its not sticking out to far past the fender. So even with a 10 mm it would stick back in almost a 1/4 inch back , but a 5 mm is probably perfect. Keep in mind that if down the road you lower the car the camber will also dip the top of the tire in a little.

Since 20mm in rear I think a 10mm would stick out too far. Ill post pics once I get appropriate spacers on |
