Will 09 LCI headlights fit on 07 335i ?
I have an 07 335i, does anyone know if the new styling headlights will fit on my 07. By new I mean, the 09+ I believe...the headlights without the amber turn signal in them.
TIA |

Bake in oven or use heat gun. Open light. Remove reflector or cover it. Seal light back up and pray its water proof. Loose warranty on lights (if you still have a warranty) and hope you didn't just destroy $1500 worth of headlights.
You can also ship it out to a professional if you're unsure of your ability. |

ya i have gone back and forth on the oven idea. my buddy did it on his 325 he had a few years back and said he would do it, but if my memory is correct he didnt have a proper seal once he was done...so im just dont sure.
but if you didnt get the right seal couldnt you just re open them per say and then try again?? |

I've been wondering the same thing. I wonder if all the connections are the same and more specifically, whether the the LED turn signals will trip an error or if they have built in resistors. I too have an 07 335i and wanted to install the 09 LED license plate lights but found out they plug in differently. If I could swap out my 2007 adaptive bi-xenons for the 2009's, that would be great. But again, I'm concerned about error codes from the LED turn signals...

hmm... so the question then is if you get lci lights for a non-lci car, presumably the xenon's will still slide right in, but can you leave your normal blinker. will the normal blinker fit behind the led holes?

I would take the car to the dealership instead of trying a resistor .... |

So your car didn't come w/ LCI lamps so you bought some and they are having issues with the blinking? You may have to get the car coded |

Yes mine is e92 not e93. How do u do the coding? By going to BMW? I was thinking resistor because MY car doesn't have LEDs. These are leds so with the resistor 50wat 6ohm would work I was thinking.
