NJ Guys: What front plate bracket do you use?
I was on my way home from tough mudder at raceway park yesterday and got pulled over in englishtown right outside of the quick check. Lady cop was a bit rude and first asked me to roll my windows up checking my tint(which is whatever it came from the factory with) asked for license and reg/ins and came back with a ticket "which is only about 50 bucks or so"(that comment kinda pissed me off, just bc I drive a bmw doesnt mean that I am made of money). I would sit here and really bitch about it but its not worth my time, they were sitting looking for tickets to write and I didnt have it.
Im debating if I am going to actually put the plate on or not but if I do, what bracket do you guys use? I dont have factory holes for the plate. |

You can use the tow hook plate which uses the front tow hook but positions the plate off to the side, and a buddy of mine actually has an electronic plate that was doneby oneighty in brooklyn and it folds under the lower grill and can be switched up or down by remote.. Its actually a very clean install

I just put this on my 2011 335i that has no holes on my bumper and I did not want to put any holes.

I have both rho and us mill works and the us mill works is better quality. Their quick release accessory is nice but I didn't pony up for it. I'm not crazy about the electronic ones because you still need to drill or cut through plastic trim/mesh and if you run underneath the bumper you lose that much clearance.

This was my second one as well. We finished in just under 3 hours. Had to wait multiple times though for another teammate that was cramping. All in all had a great time. I thought the course(especially the mud mile) was alot easier than last year.

I know they make the motorized one but i also know someone who has a retractable one that is manual and you manually fold it down and up so it then becomes personal preference.. Good luck and let us know the end result
