wheel adapters
Anyone using wheel adapters to change the bolt pattern to 5x114.3? I hear split opinions. Some say their bad others say they work fine.
Also I have an 09 328i xDrive LCI wondering what is the best fitment for a flush set up for wheel sizes. I might be running either BBS LM's or Work Meisters. Should I run a squared set up because it's an xdrive? |

I've personally never run them, but the kind that have built in studs work just like any other bolt on spacer. They're pretty common, and I think you should be okay as long as they're quality adapters.

bought the ichiba ones. havent really drove on them yet so cant give u a review or anything but the quality on them seems good. bolt on good, just make sure not to use a torque gun when putting on the lug nuts. tighten them with a xbar.

What? You should always properly torque lugs. Adapter, spacer, or just wheel.

u can use a torque wrench and torque them to 80lbs but it specifically says not to use a impact/torque gun. guessing the impact/torque gun will mess the threads up on their studs btw tightening them down with a xbar is fine. been doing for years on and off the track. |
