Hey Guys one of my turbochargers is leaking oil so before it gets really bad i am looking to buy a set of new or used upgraded turbo's. Let me know id really appreciate it.

I had to get new turbos a few months ago. Cost around $1800 for the pair and $3000 total everything. Supposedly they are the ones with upgraded wastegates. What you should do is get the OEM replacements from Vargas (Around $1100). I should have went that route and saved $400-$700 but I didn't think about it until after the turbos were installed.. Doh

I am thinking about getting there Stage 1 upgrade. I am looking for something more robust then stock with some extra HP. For the price it seems to be a good fit for me.

Idk, i wouldn't do stage 1 personally. I'd go vargas stage 2 or rb turbos (stage 2 equivalent) and pay the extra $1000. Rob at RB Turbos is a nice guy; I've talked to him a few times. If I had the money, I'd definitely go FFTEC/Vishnu single turbo. Talk about power!

Sounds good but id rather buy used

For the price you really cant go wrong with the VTT oem replacement or stage 1s., compared to BMW pricing $1800 ish for turbos + parts labor etc. etc. I was going to get the stage 1s myself, but like Brunk335i said, an $1000 is really that much of a difference especially since you can return your cores for a refund. So your pretty much spending and additional $600 for stage 2s plus the an increase in power. Im just waiting on my 2s to get shipped and I'm back in the game.
