Window Tint

I don't understand why there's so much hate on split window tint lol. Where i'm from you're not allowed any tint on the front windows at all so most of the cars here have split tint so it's not as noticeable or else no tint on the front at all. I have 20% rears and 35% on the front windows. None on the windshield. Have no problem seeing at night and haven't gotten pulled over....yet.

In Jersey cops have more important things to do them pull you over for tint- not sure what it's like in New York but I hear it's pretty harsh.

Had a friend put tints on here in NY. 1 week later he had tickets costing twice what he paid to get the tint installed!

The mentality I get here in the boroughs, is that cops use as a measure for a pull over and then try to find other crap to pin on you.

I recommend 20% or less. I have 20% tint on my windows and it's actually not as dark as I originally thought, but close enough. It does get a little difficult to see at night time though.

The e92 I recently purchased has 5% all around except for the windshield. For me I love it because I live in an area where the cops do not really care so I'm not worried about that factor. As for seeing out at night it is quite challenging sometimes but I am used to it so it doesn't really bother me. In reality it all comes down to personal preference and if the cops in your area don't care about minor things like that.

FYI- Cant even tell its that dark when the sunroof is open...

Ive had 5% all around on the last three cars I've owned. Wouldn't have it any other way. Just roll the windows down to reverse at night.

I've got 20 on the sides, 15 in the rear, and 50 on the windshield. Never have I ever gotten pulled over. Roll your windows down when you see a cop. Simple.
