I'd like to first mention that ive done research on this problem and seen many others with the same issues but i wanted to reach out personally for more personal responses which can help me more.

1. My e90 has always had a problem with getting wet, the passenger side floor always gets soaked with water. Ive check the drains under the hood near the windshield and found nothing clogging it from what i can tell. The windshield cowl isnt tight and its pretty loose but i dont know how to fix that. The water doesnt seem to come from the door seals but more likely behind the glove box.

2. Then fan that blows the ac/heater has stopped working and it the exact symptoms as ive read. People with flooded passenger floors-cricket noises in vents-loud vent fans- eventually just stops working. My understanding is that the water burnt something out but i dont know exactly what. Ive checked the fuses and i believe i checked the right one and it was good.

So now i want to know what the problems could be and a good way to diagnose it. I dont want to just fix the fan first because eventually itll burn out again do to flooding in the footwell behind the glove box again. Can anyone help me out through this situation?
