can i put 285/30/19 on 9.5 rim size
like the title says.. i been doing some research and the BMW e60 m5 wheels are 285/35/19 with the width of 9.5 so i imagine i can throw some 285/30/19s on my 335i. would it rub? would i need to roll my fenders? please let me know!

You can do 275/30 with the right offset and no fender rolling.
A 285/30 might require a fender roll. It will really depend on the tire brand. I run 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with et35 offset on both front and rear. I run 235/35 front and 275/35 rear. Falken 722. |

ET35 and 285 will probably rub without rolling fenders.

Remmib is correct. If you want to run the larger 285, look into having your fenders rolled.

I have an E90 LCI with 295/30's on 19" VB3s with a 33 offset in the rear (I think). Even with fenders rolled, I'm rubbing. Could I go a 285/30 and be ok?

285s will help, but we don't recommend those specs.

9.5 + 35 in 285.30 will rub without a roll pending on now low/passengers/hard bumps. totally worth it if you dont mind that.
Prelci e90 with 9.5 +35/285.30 will be ok.

What would you recommend? I swapped out the 295/30's with 275/30's, and those obviously fit fine, and aren't even stretched.

if youre truely on -4.7 275.30 will have very lil rub. with that camber you should be tucking wheel at full compression.

I have the same car as you and was running a 275/30/19 with 10mm spacers and had no rub issues. Went to a 285/30/19 with the spacers on a 9.5" which will fit the rim but is wide in reality and needed a minor fender roll. It looked amazing but a wider rim should be used to optimize handling.

You'd probably be alright falkens run narrow and the wider wheels will keep the tire from bulging out so much compared to a 9.5.

Cool. Well I guess I should be ok in the front too? I have 235/35/R19 now on 19x8.5 rims +30 so theroretically 245/35/R19 will be a match to the rear 285/30/R19. I guess there is only one way to find out. lol
