Catless DP equivalent on 328

I was listening to my buddy's 335 that had catless DP's and I realized thats what I was after, raspy, throaty, not much drone, but I know you can't do that on a 328, what is the equivalent to that on a 328 N52?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section btw, I apologize.

Thanks everyone!

I don't know for sure but I would assume the exhuast note on a 335 is completely different from a 328 regardless of what exhaust system is used due to one being a turbo engine and the other not.

I understand that, but I'm sure there is something nice and throaty for the 328

It will fit but needs to be modded a bit more (cutting/welding) I just saw they got free shipping too... call them monday and confirm but they told me it could be done. Check out Magnaflow, borla, Bmw PE. It just depends on how much you want to pay. Also Droning if you really hate it ,you will get some with the AA at around 2-2.5K (I actually enjoy it )

Anyone have any experience with magna flow mufflers? My real concern is drone, almost 80% of my driving is city and I'm really worried about going crazy listening to drone everywhere i drive.

I don't think that it is related to a turbo or not. It has more to do with the bottom design of the N54/55 engine, reminescent of the M54 born a long time ago.

It has the same beloved mid-range growl. No N52 sounds as nice, although the 2006 325/330i are better than 2007+ 328i (tamed and character-less IMO). All 128i are not bad either.
