Too early for winter wheels?

Live in nyc and am just curious if its too early to put my winter wheels on or should i wait for the first forecast of snow?

I would wait. Warmer weather kills snow tires and really eats up the tread.

thanks man that's what i figured but this is my first time using snow tires so i wasn't completely sure

I'm in NYC as well and usually wait till the first snow or the first ski trip lol what ever comes up first

Thanks im just anxious to put them on because my stock wheels are beaten up by the previous owner and my winter wheels are nicer and will give the car a little different look

Check forecast every week, first sign of snow is when I swap, regardless of it coming or not.

this is the worst time of the year summer wheels off, stock with winter tires on.

I usually do it over the long thanksgiving weekend... while everyone else is shopping, i swap the wheels. can depends on weather too though, something like consistanly below 40 or 50 and you should remove the summer tires

I dipped them black for this winter because i feel like my car isnt aggressive enough for a crazy color but ill be getting my coilovers in the spring and next winter im going to do some crazy ass colors throughout winter
