I want to go with the Neo ION (www mp3yourcar com) for an iPod interface in my new 325xi sedan.

The main unit installs in place of the trunk cd changer, but unlike the ICE-Link, the dock connector is provided on an 11ft. cable so it can be run back into the cabin; ideally the center console. The reason for the extra cable - and biggest advantage vs. the ICE-Link - while using the ION, the iPod display is active and still accepts direct input (clicks and scrolls) allowing rear seat passengers to control the tunes.

The price is right, $200 delivered, but the additional $175-225 pro install puts me out of range. I've searched, but haven't been able to find a guide on running wire from trunk to the center console location. Any help?

Hi, did you ever figure out how to run a wire from the trunk to the inside of the car? I'm trying to run a GPS antenna to the rear deck.
