Forge Diverter Valves work pretty well as a DV replacement. I have mine with the BMS Charge pipe, but I can't really speak to any BOV's

Now if you don't want any sound from the setup you can upgrade to Forge DVs. Now with the Forge you don't need a new charge pipe as you can use your stock one, but its still something I would upgrade, but if its not in the budget you can do it in two steps, get the Forge DVs now and Upgrade CP later. With a BOV you would need a new charge pipe bough with the BOV. Mike |

ER is the way to go, I personally don't have it. I had the Stett with the rubber cuplers, and they always pop out of place. Avoid rubber cuplers, and get an OEM style fitting

I've got an ER with stett. It's quiet enough that I can only hear it if I stick my head out the window - but I've got a straight pipe from the turbo so cars already loud enough

Its best to stay away from charge pipes that use silicone couplers at the the throttle body! We've had several customers this year switch out their silicone coupler charge pipes to the ER due to them popping off. Mike |

BOV Kit options come in many fashions but at the end of the day it's up to you to decide what fits your needs.
The most popular option is the Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe. The benefits compared to other inexpensive options is that it connects using the factory C clips. This ensure a boost leak free design and has little to no tendency to slipping off like the silcon couplers do on other rcharge pipes. The ER comes in a variety of color options included Brushed, Polished or the most popular anodized black. You can utilize factory DV, Forge DV, Tial BOV, or HKS BOV. HKS would be the louder option and Tial would be the mildest in sound but arguably the best in the business for reliability and integrity. We always recommend the Tial. Last but not least there are methanol bung options with the ER charge pipes. 1 2 and we offer aquamist bungs. We tell everyone to get the long version of the charge pipe (it fits 2007-2010). It gets rid of the flimsy rubber elbow for the 2007-2008 model years. For those who are into methanol injection the long version also helps as the methanol bungs are further from the throttle body increasing atomization. If you have a 2009-2010 you must get the long version anyway. |
