Navigation DVD 2013

Hi everyone,
I wanted to replace the navigation DVD on my 07 335i, so I went on eBay and purchase the professional version DVDs (2 CDs, east + west) for about $15.
"surprisingly" it didnt work so I had to return them.
Any idea where I can get a good copy of the DVD, or where can I download it?
IMHO it's ridiculous to spend $200 on a CD.
Help will be highly appreciated, tnx

Where's a pirate when you need one. Maybe you should check the bay.

If we use "the bay" to get a DVD, and then burn it to a DVD or CD and put it in our car, will it update our maps to newest version??

That's exactly what I purchased on eBay. I uploaded the cd and nothing came up, the cd were just keep on spinning inside.
The seller was great and offer me a full refund right away. But when I asked him why it didnt work, he said he has no idea..

The discs are available online, you'll just need to burn them to DVD (use a good high quality DVD-R and burn at the lowest speed).

There's a whole thread on this board regarding the 2013 Navigation DVDs.

Correct, for all cars produced before the 2009 model year. 2009 cars changed the Navigation system to the newer CIC system which contains a HDD to store all the map data.

Car before 2009 (2006-2008 model years) use the older CCC system which all map data is on a DVD in the second slot on the unit.

CIC based cars require updating via the USB port in the glovebox and also require the purchase of an FSC (unlock) code from your dealer or others who can generate them. You can't update simply by inserting a burned DVD like the older CCC system.

Can someone please send me the ISO file for the 2013 DVD with red light and speed traps? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Does that mean if I got a 2008 E90 that I can just put in the latest 2013 map DVD and it will work?

Yes, although the 2014 maps are now available. I use them in my 2006 E90.

Thanks. Where can I get the 2014 version? From a BMW dealer, or is there a place/website that I can get it for less?

There's a thread already started for all 2014 map updates.

You need the North America PROFESSIONAL 2014 maps for your car.
