I used 1 piece for the top climate control, and 1 piece for the cd/dvd radio and seat warmers. The crease you see is just one piece with the vinyl smoothed into the indent so it looks like 2 pieces. When you remove them you will see thay come out in 1 large trim and 1 smaller trim piece.

I'm talking about the trim piece above the headlight switch. That was all one piece of vinyl you're saying?

The trim piece above the headlight switch is tiny. How would you NOT do it with a single piece of vinyl?

I figured that it was but the pic really makes it look like two haha.

Also, those corners were the some of the most annoying parts to wrap when I did my trim. My hat goes off to you sir, it was a job very well done.

Nice job man. Not to hate but I think you have too many textures going on. 1) Carbon fiber wrap, 2) brushed wrap, 3) gloss black on the shifter and 4) chrome on the shifter suround.

A+ for effort tho

You won't end up with bubbles because of the materials, however corners will be a bit challenging if you're doing this for the first time. I'd order likely what OP did (5x3 feet) and you'll have plenty to work with. I did mine with 5x2 so that extra space will do you good.
could you PM me where you ordered from. I looked at MetroRestyling but the pattern runs the length of the roll and not the width and i don't want to order a 5ftx5ft piece.

I'd like to order 5x3 but be sure that it runs the width of the roll instead of the length.

thanks

Check out metrorestyling's ebay page. Autovinylsolutions' ebay page also has good deals. You should be able to find 5x3 there. Odd that they don't sell them on their sites anymore.

Great job, I think I'm going to give this a shot, thanks for the measurements you posted! Now to decide between the brushed black or aluminum...
