My patience wears thin!

I was fortunate to get an 08 335 convertible fully equipped as I wanted it that was on the water. That was almost four weeks ago. The dealer told me I should have it by month's (September) end unless it was on the Toronto which arrived in port on the 27th. Of course it was on the Toronto. He said it should get through VPC quickly, unless it was one of the last cars on the the boat. It was one of the last. The car fininished VPC yesterday morning, but was not released until today. The dealer said I should have it today unless they were really backed up. They were really backed up. I sure hope they have my car tomorrow, which once again the dealer said should happen, unless the truck decided to do their far away deliveries first and then swing back towards port. My dealer is less than forty miles from the port and they usually get their cars the day they are realeased, but of course not mine!

Oh well yet another anxious day. So near yet, so far.

Thanks for letting me share.

Chester County

My car arrived at the dealership yesterday afternoon, finally. I am picking it up today.

My dealer is Princeton BMW in West Windsor NJ. I like the dealership, and their price was right. Most importantly, they somehow got me a fully equipped 335i convertible that wa son the water from another dealer. I only waited three weeks, but it seems longer.

Congratulations! Three weeks is a pretty good wait time. I had to wait 8 weeks.

Is the West Windsor dealer on Route 1? I'm going to be down there in a couple weeks with some time to kill (visiting the in-laws) and might have to stop in to look around.

That's not bad. I ordered my car in May. Picked it up in Germany Sep. 11th. Currently waiting for it to get here.
