LED headlight upgrade
Just a quick question i have the stock non LED headlights on my 328i, where can i buy the FULL LED bulbs for my BMW? Or should I just go buy a whole new assembly? which is better, or does it make any difference?

What BMWs have LED Headlights? It's either Halogen or Zenon.

I believe these are only available for the new 6 series and even then I doubt the ECU would be capeable of controlling the headlights like that.

LED? You might be better off sticking with the halogen, buddy.
But seriously, E90's do not have full LED lights. It is either xenon or halogen. Now, if you want LED angel eyes, LUX is the way to go in my opinion. |

This tech look really cool but with the headlights constantly moving like that wouldn't they be more prone to wearing out relatively fast? I have no idea what kind of hardware they're using to swivel the lights left and right but aren't headlights primarily just plastic?
Basically, I'm just questioning the longevity of the headlights. I just don't see this lasting all that long before something snaps or gets misaligned. I'd really like to see more info about this. |
