Jb4 Harness: Make your own AMP pin out?
I have a JB4 G4 Board laying around from an upgrade, and I thought about buying an AMP connector from radio shack and making a pin out harness. Im guessing for $20 I can have a working JB4 to install in a friends cars. Anyone done this?
Thanks! |

Nothing is stopping you from making a wiring harness, but for what it's worth... the time and money you spend making it, it might be cheaper to just buy a used one with the harness. BTW, when you look at the actual cost of the JB, the most expensive part of the JB4 is the harness.

You can buy the pins from bms, you need around 12 male and 12 females. You also need a db25 connector & power wire.

Do you know which pins correlate to which color wires? I could find no documentation. I can get all the pins and connector at radioshack.
