Thanks for all the comments guys!

I should have prefaced my thread to note that I'm not looking for a magical/boy racer/intrusive sound.

A large component of me wanting the sound is to know that the BOV is actually functioning and releasing pressure as it should. You can't manually inspect this own your own.

I should also note that my car is FBO + Meth on additive 70.

So lack of boost is not an issue here.

I personally like that it's on the quiet side, I'd hate to sound like a boy racer civic.

Agree with all three above. Just got my Tial BOV a few days ago. It's a very tasteful sound.

But... I have a Dinan stage 2 tune, and when I really want to hear it, I just floor it. Then I hear the nice loud whoosh sound.

I don't mind my hks ssq. I like the fact that at low boost it makes the nice woosh sound. Then at high boost I get the louder aggressive squeal. Plus being 6AT you don't always hear the bov release so I never get annoyed or tired of the sound.

I would agree that function > sound

however with the tial having no sound < diverter valves

why install to atmo bov that makes no noise... dumb

especially considering how massive the unit is...
