Weird tickling noise

Today I was driving a friend to the airport and he was in a hurry, so I dropped him off at the entrance with the engine on. After he left I passed the engine and hear this strange tickling noise which was so loud that I could even hear it from the back of my car.. Could it be the valves? Car has 80k miles in it - Alpina B3S biturbo.
Has anyone had something similar?? Thanks!

Evap system makes a ticking sound, almost like an arc, maybe 5-6 ticks a second.

Direct injection paired with turbos is a recipe for a ticking festival

So there is nothing wrong with it

it was quite loud! If it appears again ill record it.
