n95 and e92

does any1 know if this is fully compatible with the e92 and the address book etc for bluetooth?! i know the BMs are picky in terms of full compatibility. i have checked the BMW website but with no success and im sure the list isnt comprehensive

http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/bluetooth...=1312#tabletop

My n73 paired with my e90 very easily and quickly. However, none of the phonebook would transfer. I still had to place all my calls through the phone itself. The only thing that would show up would be "Last Calls". I changed over to a BB Curve and EVERYTHING syncs. Its a beautiful thing.

My N95 gave me a big headache, so I just use my blackberry with it for the time being.

The Nokia N95 does not copy it's phonebook to the car. Neither does the E-series.

Crud. I was just about to order the N95-3 in Black. I mean, i'll do it anyway as I have multiple phones, but its still a bummer that the phone of all phones cant be linked properly with the entry level luxury sporty coupe of all entry level luxury sporty coupes

Honestly, just get the phone. I cant tell you that I ever dialed from the phonebook in the car. You can still receive calls and see caller ID(only number, not name). Plus youll be using the phone more often outside of the car than not. Sure its a nice plus to have it completely sync, but dont NOT get the glorious n95 because of this simple setback.

I know you asked the other poster, but Im using the Curve(8300) and this is one of the best phones Ive ever used. Before this I was using the n73 and the only thing I miss is the better camera. Otherwise the Curve does everything perfectly right, and it syncs with the car. I usually get a new phone every 4-6 mos but I feel pretty confident in holding on to this one for a while.

Large? Have you held one in person? Its thinner than the n95! I dont like big phones at all and all the BB's used to feel like I was holding a brick to my ear. I even tried the e61i for a week but hated it. This is contoured very well, a la curvy. Anyway, other than that, dont know what to tell you might work. You seem to be someone that likes advanced technology and everything else that syncs well is pretty boring or basic.

Its not terribly wide. Its smaller than you would think. And Im telling you from PERSONAL experience, the phone is COMPLETELY compatible with the car. Its even synced up to loaner cars completely.

That's crazy. I love having the phonebook. I'm using a sony ericsson w900 and an htc tytn now. I was planning to just go to one phone. So i'll definitely pick up the n95 this week and find something extremely small to use as my "car phone". The phonebook is fantastic. You dont know what your missing!
