e45-e50 datalog assistance

hey guys,
running a basic stacked procede with back end flash and i'm curious about my datalogs. ignition and boost targets look fine, but i was hoping to gain some insight into the a/f and fuel pump logs. if you could weigh in on my datazap files, i'd appreciate it.

thanks

Which one do you want us to look at? I'm going to look at "pull 5"

There’s a lot of weird stuff going on. Your advance curve gets obliterated post shift, it looks like the IJEOS flash only flatline. AFRs are stupid rich, but that’s just what those maps seem to target. I have no idea why. Also is your transmission slipping? There is some odd behavior during the shift event, as you can see by the rise in RPMs by several hundred.

Seems like a conservative tune for running E50. Should be able to target more advance in the midrange and more boost as well.

I believe this is a STG1 OFT tune stacked with the PROcede. If that’s the case, those tunes are for stock or stock+intake cars right? If true, I don’t think this map is too conservative by any means.

I just don’t get why on earth it targets such a rich AFR. Stoich for E85 is not in the ballpark of what’s being targeted here.

Well in that case, why is he running E50? Seems like a waste of money. If 91 isn't doing the trick, a simple 20-30% mixture will work just fine to clean up the logs. And yes, I agree, it's VERY rich.

OK I looked back over one of the logs- OP is downpipe+intake on E50. So yea, he could target more advance and boost likely. That still doesn’t change the fact that there is some really weird stuff going on in this log. W/out the ability to see all 6 cylinders, wgdc, etc; I don’t want to speculate as to the AFR issue, timing drops, odd shift event shenanigans.

thanks for the input.

car has the OFT back end flash with appropriate changes made to the procede tuning interface.

i may just go back to the stock BIN instead of the back end flash. i think that's what might be causing the weird issues.

thanks. i'll re-flash back to the stock BIN and upload a clean firmware/map for the procede and see what happens
