First review of COBB V2
Just got it last night from a memeber here, nice packing. Thanks.
Used 30 min to figure out how to get it light on. Finally I had to use a jumper battery to help (maybe a time to check and change my battery, i think it is original from 2008, about 55Kmiles). Anyway, after it is on i started the uploading and downloading, I selected the STG1 LT (Linear Throttle) Drive as my FMIC is still in strugle state LOL, and then wait and wait and wait, more than half of hour and weired sounds from the back sounds like the fuel pump is running all the time. I was trapped in the car as the note shows I cannot open the door! I was thinking I have to sleep in the car. LOL Finally the car stopped making noise means all done, I warmed up the car for about 2 min and had a test drive at a no lights local straight road (about 3 miles long and no traffic at 9:00pm). I floored the paddle, Oh MAN, a totally different ride! Actually I didn't feel too much power gain but definitly feel the difference of the throttling and I like it. That is just what I want, like my previous V8 Northstar Caddy SRX! This 335 is my first turbo car so I have not been used to the turbo lag and power surge, the NA feeling makes me more comfortable in city or highway. This morning I drove about 30 miles highway, not big different as before but smoother when shifting gears espically the lower gears. I will try the ST later to compare, also will install the FMIC, endless modding begins. |

leave the window rolled down and start installation from the outside of the car! And always have it connected to charger when installing.
