Very simple question for YELLOW fogs.. Halogen or HID?
As stated, I have been dancing around what I should do with my fogs and the fact is they are there for better clarity when rain, snow, or fog.
But now, should the yellow fogs be a halogen bulb or an HID bulb... Sorry, don't want to make a debate just looking for the first person that gives a credible answer.. Thanks in advance. |

I was under the impression that the film just added looks but it actually does improve the light color of the yellow... Well in some cases, might make it more green as McAuley7 said but nonetheless I should look into a film also?

I am also thinking about getting yellow fogs due to the fact that the only time I use my fog light is in bad weather so I would want the best light to cut through fog/rain/snow.
However, doesn't HID create more of a glare off wet surfaces even though it is brighter? Wouldn't it be more effective to get halogen for fogs so this doesn't happen? |

Depending on how you plan to use them e.g. weather, etc. I just got these up.

On my 335i, I have Yellow Bulbs from ZiZa and the Headlight Armor Yellow film.
I get the added protection of the film, the yellow beam that cuts through fog and the overall generally pleasing aesthetic value.
