M3 replica with M3 splitter??

I was thinking of just going ahead and getting the splitters and then doing the modifications so they would work. Is it because they are much longer so they don't fit or are there other issues involved that would make it impossible ? Im sure someone has thought of this or tried it.

Lol funny.. I thought about doing the same thing for a while now. Just buy them and sending them to my body shop but I feel like it'll be too much work and money..

Well i know a guy and he's pretty cool. I think he would hook it up. Carbon i don't think would be good to work with but urethane might. I just can find a legit pair. Only in australia but they don't ship to the states? weird. Ill keep you posted i want this to happen. Also thinking of making a one off center type exhaust. Cut a hole in the center fill the existing ones up. Just need to find a fresh looking dual tip

The splitters don't fit because they are too long and the curvature of the splitter is more than the bumper. The inside part where it attaches to the air duct fits good, but the outside won't stick on to the side of the bumper. I tried it. It looked good for a couple days, than the tape would not hold it anymore and the sides would peel away.

I have been wanting to try and have these modified as well, what are you taking about having shipped from australia exactly, could you clarify? I know of unconventional ways to get things shipped...

Is it for M Sport or M3 bumper? It also says for E92 so it wouldn't work on E90's. Their description is misleading.

Any chance we could get the close pictures of the tape peeling off. Is there a way to drill it and bolt it on?

You would have to drill into the side of the bumper. The splitters are now trashed after a piece of wood took out my bumper and my splitter on the highway. I'm just waiting for the new lip to come out now.
