Ballast is dead

Hey guys,
I narrowed it down to one of the ballast is out for my Xenon HID headlight. Strangely it went out even on dry weather where most of people experience this on rainy days.

Anyhow, I looked up aftermarket kit since replacing it with OEM ballast is about the same price. But there are eBay stuff or others who are complaining of short bulb life or errors etc.

Is there someone can steer me to the reliable aftermarket headlight kit?

Or someone with working OEM ballast for good price to sell?
My car is 2008 335i sedan.

There are actually a few vendors on Ebay selling used OEM Ballasts with warranties to replace them if they give you trouble. I actually ordered a used phillips ballast for $70 for my passenger side. I expect it today or tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. I have to warn though, with the ballast I got I do have to splice the harness for power. Which I dont mind since I get to avoid paying $300 for a used BMW ballast or $400-$500 for a new one.

The product you linked to does not appear to match either the OP's or your vehicle. Did you install that in a pre-LCI E90 Xenon? Did it work?
