KP Technologies electronic beep module?

Has anyone tried the KP Technologies electronic beep module? I have a late 09' E92 (non pre-wired for alarm) and like most have been searching for a way to have a beep confirmation for the lock/unlock for my car.

I remember from back in my G35 days that KP technologies had a module that did just this for $40.

It appears that all you need is power, ground, ignition, and the lock and lock input wire. Searching on the net it seems that some of the E46 M3 people figured out which wires to tap to make this work on their cars.

Has anyone tried to install this? Can anyone help me figure out where to find the lock and unlock input wire to tap into?

There is a module made for the BMW to do that and more. It's by mods4cars and called RemoteKey. It is also 5x more expensive though. RemoteKey

Yeah I've seen that before, but I don't want to spend that much just for it to beep, if this will work.
