yes, this issue has already been fixed with our latest batch, angel eyes turn on in sequence now and also fade in and out like OEM.

And the V8's light output is as strong as the V7's, I presume (when in 6500K color)? They just add color adjustability to the V7's, basically?

yes, that is correct, the main difference is the ability to change colors.
