OFT Stage2 Beta versus OFT Stage1 dyno result

Had the car up on the dyno yesterday to see what the Stage2 was putting out on 93

Was a bit underwhelmed with the results , graph is of stage1 ,stage2 & baseline compared -

only thing i can note is the intake temp of the dyno sheet of when the stage 1 map was 21 degrees (70F) when done a couple of months ago and yesterday when stage2 dyno was run the intake temp was 31 degrees (88F)

did two 3-4-5 pulls while car was on the dyno

results look good Use corrected numbers for Dynojet graph comparison, also you can provide a datalog to us directly for further support.

That seems pretty damn low for fbo, i have seen stock cars with just a tune at that power level or higher

Without a baseline it could be great numbers. These cars dyno anywhere as low as the 24XX range depending on the dyno and has high as the 29X.

At this point it's just a number.

If the datalogs are good and the OP is happy that is really all that matters. The AFR is solid as well as boost and ignition. The only thing that may require a little tweak is the open fuel up top. The IAT are also consistent too.

How does stage 2 feel compared to stage 1. I am still running stage 1 with ams fmic, and catless downpipes on 93 (stock intake still).

It seems like there were not really any glaring reviews of the stage 2 beta. Is this tune ripe for consumption yet?

The dyno is a Dyno Dynamics dyno. Reads 13-15% usually compared to Dynojets. Hence his baseline of only 238whp:

OTS map dyno numbers look spot on from what I'm seeing.

BTW, I used to own a Dyno Dynamics dyno. Awesome dyno and a vastly better tuning tool than a Dynojet. But I did get quite used to telling people how low (or rather how high Dynojets) read

A DynoDynamics is like road tuning a car on an incline. You'll know the car can withstand the added stress once you come off it.

WIll get them to email me a graph with the baseline, stage1 and stage2 on it
you can see from my e40 dyno thread that my car baselined at 238HP on factory map

ya car runs well - just had in my mind that stage2 was going to be a bigger jump in terms of performance

good to know about the open fuel up top - thanks - will need to look at that

It would seem the stage 2 map provides minimal to no additional power over stage 1.

Looks like a pretty fair gain!

This proves more and more how that baseline number is important.

Where one person would be disappointed in 33X WHP it goes to show how it's nearly a 100WHP delta and spot on!

Enjoy the car!

Updated initial post with updated graph that has the baseline

waiting on my vishnu/fftec inline pump to ship so i can run e85

so with vargas having that sale on - was looking at the turbo upgrades and been reading about the fueling issues

as i drive a RHD model - there are no single/stage3 options from what i can see

the only options are the stage2 or RB turbo's

from a quick email to vargas about the stage 2 - they were having issues with fueling once they were doing over e40 but it would work if i ran e85+meth

do the RB turbo's have similar fueling issues with e85?

not a big fan of having to run meth and would prefer not to if possible

yep IJEOS 6AT

Edit** - nothing changed - they were pretty much consecutive pulls (apart from unplugging the OFT, downloading log to laptop - looking at log, then attaching the oft and logging for the 2nd pull)
