E90 M Sport cosmetic ideas

Hi all, I have recently purchased an e90 Pre-LCI MSport and I would love to hear ideas and what people have previously done to cosmetically enhance their E90s.

This is what i am thinking currently...

Matte black grilles
Xenon upgrade and LED angels
Blackline taillights
LED interior lighting

I want a sporty, classy but OEM look. Here are some pictures of how it currently looks.

Looks nice! I wish I had those rims as my winter rims. I have the same color 07 335 with the sport package and I have...

BMW Performance Spoiler
Matte black grills
Debadged
All Black Roundels
35% Tint
OSS Style headlights
Tinted side markers
Instead of Blacklines I just used window tint to tint the reverse part of the tailight

I just ordered some OEM Style Splitters and I hope to get new exhaust tips next summer. Jealous of your black window trim, another project after winter.

Do gloss black/performance grills, it looks better than matte black and matches your window trim better. Blackline's are always good choice. If you are going to do Xenon upgrade get E90LCI xenon lights. Those have better angel eyes than the pre-lci.

Change the rear diffuser to LCI m-sport, i think it looks little bit better http://i39.tinypic.com/j63j2w.jpg, Also i would change the exhaust tip to dual exhaust so it fills the hole better. I changed my exhaust tip and will change the to m-sport rear with Lci carbon fiber rear diffuser.

Thanks guys, some really good ideas! I was debating whether to go mate or gloss black grilles, really need to see the grills in flesh to make the judgement.

I like the idea of the diffuser and twin tips.

schmidtp you got any pics of your car?

Also what do you guys think to a blackout of the headlights once I get the xenon and Ae?

Like this way http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=805504? I think it will look good. I have gloss black kidneys and really like them.

Once you get those then you should work on getting new wheels and a drop. Happy modding!

Thanks for the link to those lights, they look great and go well with the colour of the car. I'm sure I can achieve a similar look with my pre LCI lights.

Yea wheels also are on the list, I agree that's further down the line though as I do like the look of my current standard ones too

Does anyone have any links of gloss vs matte grilles?

Here are some shots from this morning. Splitters should be here next week. Have fun making it your own!

Nice pics! I like your headlight, did you do,it through OSS?

I wasn't planning to fig a projector on the full beam, do you think it makes a difference? I'm also intending to darken the inner part of the reflector with time spray but leave the outer part. Any thoughts?

Nope I did it myself. Just takes patience and a whole weekend's worth of time. I basically just painted all the housings within light and VHT nightshade for the reflector. This is the stock headlight and has the adaptive feature. The high and low beams are the projector. The inner light is just the turning light

Oh nice, good job! Must have been difficult spraying the components so precisely? What do you reckon to my idea of having just one projector and tiniting the inner part of the reflector? Everything else will remain the same...
