Yes, a 10 ft HP male A to female A extension was the length I used. It works we'll for running down the passenger side of the center console, jumping across the 6 inch stretch of carpet where the rear center passengers tiny feet would go, and then up under the rear seat, and then under the trunk/cargo floor panels. I then have just a short generic usb 2.0 cable maybe 3 ft at the end in the trunk to give me the mini usb I need for the DAC. Total length of usb should not exceed 15ft I believe. And mine is .5 ft (USB OTG adapter) + 10ft extender + 3ft cable into DAC.
