I replaced OEM with set of RB's, these ran strong with no issues. I replaced because I was chasing down an issue with car smoking... but after removing the smoking issue persisted and turbo's are still in good shape.

These go for $1200 for a pair new from getbmwparts.com

Last pair sold in this thread for $200+shipping by a BMW master tech who certified no shaft play or problems. This guy wants 250% of that for turbos with 90,000 miles on them... seems crazy to me.

I agree 90k for 450 is crazy, I really need a set of used turbos with low miles if anyone can help me find a set.

What caused your smoke issue? I may be in the same boat and dont want to spend the cash on new turbos if I dont have too. Thanks in advance.
