E92 Auto Gear Shift Removal

Hi Can anyone please advise on how I remove my gear shift on my E92 auto. I have the performance one ready to fit. Thanks in advance.

Move selector to neutral, hold down gear release lever and pull up hard.

Changed my g/selector using this method - easy.

Just tried it, came off ok, missed the face but nearly dislocated my elbow. Typing with one hand now, he!! he!!

Will post some before / after shots but dealer only sent the gaiter. Doh!!!!

Hi mistake on my be half. Gaitor was £56.00 and that was all that was delivered. But the picture showed the lever which is £87.00
