BMS DPFIX Piggybacked to JB4 Question

I'm hoping someone that's installed the DPFIX recently for their catless downpipes to pass inspection in NY can answer my question. I passed my inspection last year, then took off DPFIX, but this year I can't seem to recall the steps I did, even following the instruction pdf.

I vaguely remember seeing someone say that in the instruction pdf it states "...while single black male wire goes directly above 19" but the picture has it on 20. Was that the typo that I remember people mentioning, that it should be going to 20 instead of 19 (as the instruction manual says)??

Right now I'm throwing the 2C31/2C32 codes for it being too strong, so I lowered the dial, reset codes, reset adaptations, drove over 75miles and still have SES light on. Been trying to troubleshoot this issue. Anyone can help?

does anyone have any ideas? i swapped the black male wire to match the picture today & the SES still came up after driving. is the 2C31/2C32 code that much of a pain to clear and what have you done to resolve it?

I think you have it installed correctly, not 100% sure, but i think the issue might be that you did not start at the 6 o clock position to get your baseline before adjusting the dial to be "too strong". If you read the PDF again there is a section near the end that talks a bit about what happens when you get a "too strong signal"... That might be your issue?? but the real source of truth is terry. Me personally i just leave my DP fix dialed in at my happy setting for the past 40k miles with zero issues. I'll remove it once my warranty is up since i don't want my track car to have any issues when i tow it to the dealership for oil changes
