I love my PE. I don't know if I would put it on a lease. It cost around $1,300. I don't know how much you could get back if you try to sell it in 3 years, because the F30 is out. Good luck.

There's still a large market for E36, E46, etc. exhausts so I'm pretty sure the PE will hold its value regardless of the F30's presence.

How much did it cost you for installation? Did you get it at a dealer?

No take it to a muffler shop. $60 should do it.

$1,300 was with installation, at Morristown Bmw. That was 3 years ago.

No it will not void your warranty. Only if a problem occured, and they find out that the problem relates to the mod you've done. The PE is worth it, and the price shouldnt drop much considering there are a lot of e46 owners out there. there will still be a lot of e9x owners looking for the PE.

I saved a few bucks looking on ebay. Found a dealer in San Diego that was listing them for $1000. Had them do the install.

When they install the PE they will only need to cut your stock exhaust behind the 2ndary cats - make sure that is the only place they cut your stock exhaust (leave rest intact). Your stock exhaust WILL fit in your car if left intact in 1 pc.

The PE then installs with band clamps.

Simple matter when you turn the car back in to remove the PE for re-sell & re-install your original exhaust using the same band clamps...

Cold start, down shifts using paddles will bring a smile to your face. The higher the revs, the better it sounds. It will turn heads for sure!

I would go for it with 3 years to enjoy. Tischer has it for $990 with free shipping, and you may be able to get a few bucks cheaper with a promo code. I was asking myself the same question recently but I have had my car for nearly 4 years now and may upgrade soon (in a year or so) and therefore could not justify. I think you would have no problem for selling for $600 or $700 when you turn in the car, and figure maybe an hour of labor each time to swap out the exhausts.
