Rough cold starts

I recently started encountering a rough start for about 5-10 seconds then there engine runs fine.

Typically I don't drive my car on the weekend and when it sits for the couple of days especially if it had been cold, the car stalls after the first try then stalls again at second try then idles rough for a few second at third try then it's back to normal. the car runs great after that. if is not cold out I don't experience this issue.

anyone experienced this before?

Could be many things... but in my opinion could be either fuel pump going bad or a leaky injector to start with. Read shadow codes and see what you find.

Cheapest way to start is to try a bottle of Techron fuel injector cleaner and go from there... it happened to me once and after trying techron cleaner I have not experienced it again.

why just in cold weather though?

I've read on here somewhere I in the past that to only use techron just before an oil change , not sure what that corolation was but I just had an oil change. does it mess up the oil?

No, it will not mess with your oil. Try it the Techron Fuel Injector Cleaner and keep us posted.

What about your battery? Is it still original one? Weak batteries and cold weather dont get along..
