It sucks... Wash it and next day it is covered in dirt and pollen.

I have a garage, but I have the same problem. Except instead of "the next day" it's "the next day after work" where it isn't covered. :-\

Is yours black? Black is always the worst, but always looks so amazing when clean.

I know how you guys feel... My black E90 parks outside ALL the time. Whenever, I wash my car, I do a light polish (optional, depending on case) and sealant wax. (I wash my car once a month, if I'm lucky, because I get so lazy from detailing other people's car... haha) But the sealant wax, helps with the next wash. Protects it from the contaminants embedding itself onto my paint, then it just means more clay time... Waxing is easier than claying your car.

California car duster, basically will keep your car clean until it rains or you hit too many bugs

Don't use the california! It leaves some greasy mess on it. If you are going to use the duster, use it the way that Larry at Ammo NYC uses it. Just let the fibres touch the paint. Don't slam the duster on and let the weight do the dusting. Keep it off the paint as much as possible.

Polish and seal/wax is your best bet. Significantly reduces the amount of stuck-on dirt and grime.

OP,i park my car outside and i dont have any worries,i have montego blue, what i have done to my car for protection and to keep it clean,
1. Detailed,
2.applied CQUARTZ
3.Applied paint protection film on front bumper, fenders, headlights, hood and back bumper,
4.i wash it twice a month and use CARPRO Reload after wash
looks always clean.
i would suggest you to look into that route and buy quality car cover

A duster can be a good idea, just be careful when using it. You don't want to apply pressure, and let the fibers grab the dust/dirt for you. I would recommend a microfiber one, they grab a lot better, and it is softer than cotton. Also, make sure you find one that you can detachable, so you can wash the duster. Don't want to keep on using it when its dirty.

How about Optimum Instant Detail, or Poorboys Spray & Wipe, with a microfiber for dusting? I know it's more pressure, but also lubricated.

I use Meguiars Synthetic Sealant 2.0 #21 and then collnite #845. Maybe a waste of time, but I like how 845 looks better than just the sealant. And I have a big bottle of that sealant and not buying another till it's done. Seems to protect fine or at least water keeps beading after months. If the car looks dirty, when I fill up with gas, I just run it through the wash, choosing the very basic. Power- rinse, soap, soak, power-rinse, spotless rinse and the blower. Cost $5 and car comes out looking great.
