Error Lights
I have a BMW 330d Auto (56 reg) 120k miles. It had 1 owner previously and was always serviced at BMW. I have owned it for the past 18 months, no problems.
Took it to my local garage for its MOT and they said there was a leak and replaced the inlet manifold costing me £ hundreds. A few weeks later two lights came on, Particulate filter and increased emissions. This was the print out they gave once they plugged in the machine: 4687 - Throttle actuator - Electrical/mechanical fault --- 4687 Throttle Valve Actuator 4262 - Glow plug, cyclinder 6 - open circuit/earth short -- 4262 Glow Plug Cyl 6 - Activation Interrupted 480A - Particulate filter system - Filter overloaded -- 480A DPF -Bank 1 483D - Swirl flap actuator - Electrical/mechanical fault -- 483D Throttle Actuator ???? - Exhaust gas pressure sensor before particulate filter -- signal too high 4252 - Glow plug, cyclinder 5 - open circuit/earth short -- 4252 Glow Plug Cyl 5 - Activation Interrupted 4222 - Glow plug, cyclinder 2 - open circuit -- 4222 Glow Plug Cyl 2 - Activation Interrupted 4501 - Exhaust gas recirculation control - control deviation negative -- 4501 Exhaust Gas Recirculation- Negative Deviation or Air Mass too High They then replaced the throttle actuator 2 days ago, which again cost a few £ hundred and cleared all the lights. The same two lights (Particulate filter and increased emissions) and now come on after only 3/4days. What could be the actual fault as they are just replacing parts which is becoming very expensive, over £1k and not resolving the problem. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
